With over 150.000 annual visitors, the two venues of the Poli Grappa Museum are among the most visited enterprise museums in Italy.

Poli Grappa Museum – Venue of Bassano del Grappa

Inaugurated on July 4th, 1993 by Jacopo and Cristina Poli, driven by the desire to share the knowledge and the taste of the most renowned Italian distillate. It is located in Bassano del Grappa, the “capital” of Grappa, in front of the famous Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), symbol of the city.

Through five suggestive halls the evolution of the distillation art is retraced. The Museum hosts the historical section of the “Library of the Spirit”, with ancient books about the distillation and the most complete collection of Grappas in miniature bottles known in Italy.

Free entry, self-guided visit.

Poli Grappa Museum – Venue of Schiavon

Inaugurated in 2011, it is located in Schiavon, next to the Poli Distillery. It exhibits stills for the production of Grappa, including a rare mobile still from the mid-19th century and the modern section of the “Library of the Spirit” with books dating back to the last 150 years. It contains the Grappateca, a collection of about 2000 bottles, and the Historical Archive of ancient commercial documents coming from hundreds of distilleries, most of which no longer exist. It offers adequate space for large groups and the opportunity to visit the production departments of the adjacent Distillery. The Poli Grappa Museum was chosen as the Italian Anchor Point of ERIH – European Route of Industrial Heritage.

Free entry, self-guided visit.
