The Museum was created on the initiative of the Branca family who wanted to collect and preserve collectible objects and documentation, as well as provide the company with a place for cultural activities.
The Branca Collection organizes guided tours aimed at various audiences: private individuals, public bodies, schools, communication experts. An area of the museum hosts exhibitions and displays, while the spaces of the Conference Room are rented out for meetings and conventions.
The Collection occupies over 1,000 square meters of the Milan industrial complex and being set up inside the factory, it is pervaded by the aroma of Fernet-Branca. It is the result of more than 10 years of work, in which all the active subjects of the company were involved, from the selection of materials, to the restoration of objects (carried out internally by the workers themselves), up to the final set-up. All the materials on display (calendars, sketches, posters, old bottles) have a dual function: they are historical documentation of a production system, as well as of communication and organizational conception.
In the communication area you can admire the sketches of old advertising campaigns and see the famous television Carousels. The reconstruction of the Herbalist area, the chemical laboratory and the carpentry allows a greater understanding of the production cycle of the Branca.
