The museum glasses of Archimede Seguso (1909-1999), made available by the Gr. Uff. Gino Seguso, are temporarily housed in the halls of the Murano glassworks of the same name and illustrate the taste of the 20th century, representing its moment, style, innovations, the artistic ability of the man who was called “The Master of Masters” and “the Encyclopedia life of Venetian glass”. These works are ordered chronologically or by participation in exhibitions or by processing techniques; they are supported by drawings and documents.

Archimede Seguso, creates in his factory a façon to make his glass and often leaves out the intervention of designers because it has in it the innovative twentieth-century taste, the creative imagination combined with the expert executive dexterity of “all done by hand”.

Our intention is to give continuity to his factory school.
