Six virtual 3D rooms to tell the story of the Ferrovie Nord Milano, from its founding in 1877 to the present day, with thousands of images, documents, in-depth fact sheets freely accessible, all enriched with multimedia content (audio and video) and 3D reproductions of iconic places, railway vehicles, and technical equipment. A fascinating journey through time, exploring the history of a company – now known as the FNM Group – and the people who contributed to building and growing it, deeply rooted in Lombard society and closely linked to its development. The materials largely come from the company archive, which has been revisited and reorganized, as well as from private donations.
The Virtual Museum, developed by FERROVIENORD can be visited by enthusiasts, students, and casual visitors. Anyone can independently organize their visit and customize their journey, returning as often as they wish.
