Boccia Industria Grafica SPA is a company with over sixty years of history. The printing business began with Orazio Boccia, who founded his typography with a semi-automatic foot-operated press, a used cutting line and old movable type printing benches. Today, known as the “European Boutique of the Graphic Industry,” it offers offset and roto-offset printing services for magazines, catalogues, newspapers, and flyers for large-scale distribution. Over the years, it has strengthened its presence in the European market through investments in advanced technologies and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring products of the highest quality.

The company has embarked on a path of continuous growth, constantly evolving without ever giving up the values that define it. Much of its strength lies precisely in its ability to keep these roots alive, pillars of the present and a model for the future. This is why the museum, located within the Salerno headquarters, is so important. It houses historic printing machines, a tangible testament to the company’s journey. Furthermore, the work environment is enriched with sources of inspiration and growth, thanks to the presence of artworks, some created by using paper waste. This approach goes beyond the concept of a circular economy, not just recycling and reuse but a true artistic rebirth, promoting a more ecological and sustainable vision of the world. There are also several murals, some of which, in addition to being large-scale art exhibitions, embody this vision as they are made with “Airlite” paints, capable of absorbing pollution from the atmosphere.

Thanks to a donation from professor Valerio Castronovo, one of the most influential expert of Italian historiography, the company hosts a library containing 25,000 volumes.

“You risk going backward when you forget where you came from.” – Orazio Boccia
