For more than 75 years, the Berta family has been dedicated to the production of distilled spirits aged in wooden barrels. The fulcrum of the Berta world is the headquarters in Mombaruzzo (AT), with the distilleries divided over four cellars for the production of grappa, along with the pastry workshop that makes macaroons, the company museum and a system of historic buildings brought back to life, which have now become refined Relais and hospitality venues.
The Berta Museum was created after a renovation that lasted more than a year, which completely renewed the look and structure of the existing exhibition space, with the aim of telling the company’s story through the creation of an immersive experience in which visitors can explore the roots the values, culture and contexts that have helped define its current identity, and feel completely involved in what the Berta family does every day-from the selection of the pomace to the patient aging in barrels-to produce every single bottle with the same care and attention. The redefinition of the exhibition spaces led to the creation of a new narrative path that not only tells the story of the three Berta generations, but also emphasizes the common thread that has always linked them: the pursuit of the strategy of quality and the cult of hospitality.
