This year, Museimpresa has chosen Venice as the venue for the Residential Seminar titled ‘Business Stories, Energy of the Future’, in collaboration with the Civic Museums of Venice.
“The decision to hold this event in Venice and the Veneto region is no coincidence,” said Mariacristina Gribaudi, President of the Civic Museums of Venice. “Confindustria’s recognition of the Padua, Rovigo, Treviso, and Venice areas as ‘Capitals of Business Culture’ highlights the experiences of Veneto, where local areas, places, production, people, culture, history, and local industrial districts all play a central role. Against this comprehensive backdrop and as a result of the collaboration with the Civic Museums of Venice, corporate museums and archives affiliated with Museimpresa will have the opportunity to meet and discuss the importance of business culture and the need to promote long-term projects and partnerships between civic museum networks and corporate museums and archives.”
The session was introduced by Antonio Calabrò, President of Museimpresa, alongside Mariacristina Gribaudi, President of the Civic Museums of Venice.
“We are living through difficult times, times of crisis and uncertainty. The threats of war, energy shocks, inflation, and recession all impact security, employment, income, and development. Companies are re-evaluating investment plans and business relationships under pressure,” said Antonio Calabrò, President of Museimpresa. “However, in these challenging times, it is essential to strengthen the assets of international competitiveness, namely, the original ‘multi-disciplinary culture’, a fusion of humanistic knowledge and scientific and technological expertise, a future-oriented history, and a strong commitment to quality. Corporate museums and archives are crucial strategic assets for navigating the crisis and driving growth. Their enhancement positively influences brand identity, employee pride, marketing, communication, and market relations, while also strengthening the global prestige of the ‘Made in Italy’ brand.”
